Custom Fabricator

This is a jack-of-all-trades role focused on fabricating custom vehicles, trailers, and event structures. You’ll work on everything from HVAC ductwork to aluminum siding, light electrical to auto assembly. Every project is unique, so adaptability, attention to detail, and strong mechanical aptitude are musts.
You’ll join a skilled 3–4-person crew and work closely with our Plant Manager and Project Managers to bring concepts to life—exactly how the renderings imagined them.
- Build, assemble, install, and finish one-off structures using a wide range of trade skills.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical sketches, and drawings.
- Perform tasks in HVAC, light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, welding, and general mechanical systems.
- Use metal fabrication equipment including brakes, shears, and welders.
- Fit and bend sheet metal and aluminum components.
- Trim and install siding, roofs, facia, and flooring with precision.
- Collaborate with your team to plan daily tasks, troubleshoot issues, and maintain quality control.
- 2+ years of experience in custom fabrication.
- Demonstrated ability in at leasttwo of the following: welding (MIG/TIG), HVAC (ducting/sheet metal), electrical (AC/DC), plumbing, carpentry, vehicle/RV assembly, or mechanical troubleshooting.
- Experience with aluminum or steel fabrication, including the use of hand and power tools.
- Able to work at heights, lift 50+ lbs, and remain on your feet for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and time management under tight deadlines.
- Team player with solid communication skills.

Logistics
Shipping & Receiving Department
- Drive as required (material movement, supply/material pickup)
- Inspect all inbound packages, materials, and goods for damage.
- Verify delivered goods and materials against packing slips for accuracy.
- Label and log inbound goods and materials accurately.
- Test monitors for functionality and secure them in the electronics cage (client assets).
- Notify appropriate team members of inbound goods and materials.
- Process packing lists and documentation according to established procedures.
- Stage inbound goods and materials based on project needs.
- Assist with preparing outbound shipments, ensuring proper packaging for safe transport.
- Maintain clean and organized loading dock and receiving areas.
- Support weekly inventory of stock goods and materials.
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Assist with movement and staging of vehicles, containers, trailers, and scrap materials for recycling.
- Stage pallets, dunnage, boards, and other shipping-related materials.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned, such as garbage removal
- Prior shipping & receiving experience in a manufacturing setting (required)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required)
- Forklift experience (required)
- Experience working with ERP systems (required)

Production
Production Employee
The main duties of the Production Employee Position for CGS Premier is to work with the both the Production Manager and Assistant Production Manager to ensure accurate and timely completion of custom built projects. Maintaining the scope of work, attention to detail, budget, and timeline will be paramount to a successful project outcome. This position is one that encompasses many different skill sets, such as a Welder, Carpenter, Electrician, Plumber, Mechanic, or General labor.
- Perform tasks as assigned by either the Production Manager or Assistant Production Manager.

Production
Facilities Coordinator
The Facilities Coordinator position reports to the Plant Manager and is responsible for preserving the good condition of infrastructure and ensure that facilities are safe and functioning properly. The Facilities Coordinator is also responsible for supporting the logistics of the production functions of the company through movements of medical units and vehicles in the lot and in the building. This also includes ensuring that all equipment is in safe working condition, and that materials inventories are maintained.
- Work with Receiving to ensure inventoried project materials are properly stored.
- Assist VP of Production in managing proper project workflow and layout with available shop space through movements of vehicles and equipment.
- Coordinate with Shipping and Receiving staff to ensure inbound materials end up where they belong, and assist with proper packaging of outgoing deliveries
- Work with VP of Production to ensure machinery and equipment is in good order as needed.
- Act as a backup to Shipping and Receiving to inspect incoming and outgoing vehicles.Fill out inspection sheets and file for record keeping purposes.
- Coordinate annual sprinkler system maintenance
- Coordinate HVAC maintenance and perform filter changes
- Coordinate all scrap material runs and handle scrap money funds.
- Parking lot and grounds maintenance and cleaning
- Coordinate snow removal, keeping doorways clear of ice, snow and debris
- Scheduling dumpsters
- Support cleaning staff and cleaning supply inventory
- Coordinate window washing, carpet cleaning, and all other contracted facilities vendors
- Manage setting up and storage of outdoor furniture and décor
- Other duties as assigned
